| Dark Being |
is another somewhat old character of mine. I made
him back in the late 80's. This is my Galactus
character of the GDF universe. The original
character was a guy who was nearly 200 feet tall. I
then changed him to a her in the RPG and that didn't
work out that well. So here I am switching him back to
a him. I had to redo his costume 3 times to get it
somewhat right.
A QUICK ORIGIN OF Dark Being
Dark Being, The Sun Eater, people call him. Very few
people have ever seen him but many people know of
him. He travels from sun to sun eating the energy the
sun produces. In the end the sun is extinguished. He
has enough power to destroy a whole solar system.
One planet turned there sun into a supernova. Dark
Being was at ground zero and withstood the blast with
not even a scratch on his armor.
He feeds every 100 years where he goes during his
nonfeeding times is unknown. It is known that his
race fought The Ancients and he is the last known
survivor of his race.
10 years before he must feed he sends out miniature
robotic duplicates of himself. These duplicates have
the same powers of the original but at a much lower
power level.
Dark Being Powers
Dark Being possesses the immeasurable Power and
is considered the most powerful being in the GDF
universe. As such, Dark Being is able to employ the
limitless energy within him to produce virtually any
effect he desires. A few of the abilities he has
displayed are:
Levitation: Dark Being can make himself float and
move through the air.
Molecular Restructuring: Ability to physically alter
persons or objects through the manipulation of their
comprising molecules.
Matter Transmutation: Ability to directly convert one
form of matter into another form of matter. e.g.
turning lead into gold.
Cosmic Teleportation: Ability to teleport beings and
objects—even entire galaxies—across space and
time. This ability also allows him to teleport himself.
Cosmic Force-Fields: Ability to erect completely
impenetrable energy shields.
Cosmic Energy Projection: Ability to project energy
with incalculable force.
Interdimensional & Intradimensional Portals: Ability to
create wormholes between dimensions and within
dimensions.
Cosmic Telepathy: Ability to read or communicate
with other minds across universal distances.
Cosmic Telekinesis: Ability to move virtually unlimited
amounts of mass through mental concentration.
Cosmic Awareness: Ability to sense disturbances or
changes within the cosmic ether on a universal scale.
Resurrection: Ability to raise the dead. This ability
also allows him to raise himself from death.
Creation: Ability to create complex, sentient,
biological life-forms from nothing.
Recreation: Ability to remake even an entire Solar
System, including populations, the planets etc in
every detail.
Power Bestowal: Dark Being, duplicates whom he has
endowed with a minuscule fraction of his power, are
able to manipulate matter and energy in ways far
beyond human comprehension.
