10 years. I wanted my heroes to fight against a
group that was the Justice League. The only twist
they were EVIL!
Beast of The Deep finally got a upgrade in his looks
with Champions Online. I always thought of him as a
shark like individual and not like he was in City of
Heroes. Its not perfect yet but its closer. Other then
the future history that is coming not much has change
on him. He is my EVIL Aquaman.
A QUICK ORIGIN OF Beast of The
Deep
Beast of The Deep has attacked the surface dwellers
on many occasions. The Atlantians under his
command has attacked and killed many
anti-environmentalists and whalers. He has pirated
many ships and only taken jewels from the filthy rich.
Beast of The Deep was approached by Vengeance
Inc to join them or die. Vengeance Inc needed a
warrior that could patrol the worlds oceans. Beast of
The Deep didn't want anything to do with the surface
dwellers but was easily out muscled by Magnus Star.
Even in the Oceans where Beast of The Deep is the
most powerful. After Night Lord explained to him
about the cleanup efforts he quickly fell in line and
became one of the Elite Seven.
Unknowingly to the rest of Vengeance Inc, Beast
provides intel for the rebels when Magnus Star is
involved. He wants to defeat Magnus Star for the
humiliation that was given to him by his hands.
Beast of The Deep Powers
Beast of The Deep has limited telepathic ability to
communicate with marine life, which he can summon
from great distances.
Beast of The Deep has a number of superhuman
powers, most of which derive from the fact that he is
adapted to live in the depths of the ocean. He has the
ability to breathe underwater. He possesses
superhuman durability high enough to remain
unaffected by the immense pressure and the cold
temperature of the ocean depths, he is invulnerable
to gun fire. He can swim at very high speeds. He can
see in near total darkness and has enhanced hearing
granting limited sonar. Although he can remain
underwater indefinitely without suffering any ill effects,
He also possesses superhuman strength. The exact
level of his strength is dependent upon his physical
contact with water, in which he needn't be
submerged. His strength diminishes slowly the longer
he is out of contact with water, though an extended
period on land does not result in his death, as it
would for a typical Atlantean, and his power is
retained in full as long as he keeps himself wet.
