Every good comic book has Atlantis in it. Mine is no
different. Although in mine they never became the
fish people. In my RPG days Atlantis served as a
middle ground from the underempires to the surface
dwellers. So its changed a lot since the days when I
the History I had with Atlantis in my webcomic. I went
in a completely different direction. I still had them at
least the Human looking ones. I thought it would be a
great idea to have all the legends of the old Greeks
be used. So that lead to the gods of Olympias. I
could easily think of two gods that I could use Ares
the God of War and Pluto God of Death. I figured
Pluto would be better due to no Wars are really
fought underground although that actually will
change.
A QUICK ORIGIN OF Atlantis
Council
Before the Fall of Atlantis it was the envy of all the
other Nations. The Scientific and Magical abilities
combined are at a higher level then todays scientific
leaders.
What little is known about Atlantis during its final days
as a surface city is speculation at best. There were
those in power who wanted to help the rest of
mankind and there were those who wanted power
who wanted to enslave mankind. Those who wanted
the power were in control of a new weapon that could
destroy whole territories in a matter of seconds. This
weapon malfunctioned and somehow brought Atlantis
to its current position.
The council is now made up of the most powerful
denizens of Atlantis. The Atlantis Council, is ruled by
the heads of each faction. Dark Master, the high
council member and the most powerful wizard in the
world. Minotaur, the leader of the Minotaur race in
Atlantis general of the Army. Mr. Medusa, slave labor
leader enforcer. Siren, the leader of the fish hybrids.
Each controls a powerful group in Atlantis. They all
wish to see the city rise again above the surface and
claim the world as their own. There is also 3 other
members that have not been revealed yet. These
men/creatures have lived since before the fall of the
roman empire. They augment there lifespan by using
magic crystals called Blood Rubies.
Over the years there have been a few that have
escaped from Atlantis. They have become intricate
additions to the surface society. From the Mage
Merlin, to how Vampires were created, to the legends
of the mermaids. Of course the legend of Atlantis
itself.
