was originally made way back in the 80's. I had
Animal Teen as the leader and I wanted my friends to
have powers. So I gave my one friend Wings and
thats what I called him. Fast forward several years to
the 90's I brought him out again but I changed him to
a her. This allowed me to start making the character
my own. The background completely changed and I
stuck with it till the Global Defense Force came out in
2000. I decided to go back to the roots of how he got
his powers but I kept her being a her instead.
Never really had a costume idea except for the wings.
She is pretty much a female Angel.
A QUICK ORIGIN OF Wings
Her Brother and her plane had crashed on a remote
Island. This island was the staging ground for Doctor
Dino. They of course were captured and was gonna
be transformed into Dino Warriors. Doctor Dino has
a device to force plains to crash on his island.
Sonic Soldier, Earth Lord and Animal Teen pick up a
single from the crashing plane. They get involved
and rescue Julie and Cliff. During the rescue the
transformation process is interpreted and Animal
Teen gives part of his powers to Julie and Cliff
instead.
Julie thinking its the greatest thing in the world joins
the Global Defense Force and calls herself wings.
Wings Powers
Wings possesses the superhuman ability to fly by
means of his natural wings, which span 18 feet. Fully
feathered like a bird's this allows her to fly by flapping
his wings, as a bird does.
Wings entire anatomy has been changed to allow her
to fly. Her body is virtually devoid of fat and
possesses greater proportionate muscle mass than
an ordinary human does. Her eyes are specially
adapted to withstand high-speed winds which would
hurt the average human eye. He possesses a special
membrane in his respiratory system enabling her to
extract oxygen from the air at high velocities or
altitudes. Her sight has been greatly increased.
Due to her change in her body, Wings possesses
greater physical strength than an ordinary human
equal to her in body weight and can lift about 1000
lbs.
Wings normal cruising speed averages around 150
miles per hour, though she is capable of diving
swoops that reach up to 400 miles per hour. She can
fly at Mach 1for up to an hour at a time before tiring
to an appreciable degree. Though she generally flies
beneath the height of the clouds ([6,500 feet)(1981
meters)he can reach a height of 12,000 feet with little
effort. With severe strain he can attain the highest
recorded altitude of a bird in flight (African geese at
29,000 feet (8840 meters) above sea level), but she
could only remain that high for several minutes.
